I do windows and floors

Interesting work today! I fixed up the pool area at the Comfort Inn in Tualatin.

  1. I cleaned all the windows
  2. I refinished the floor

(All in Photoshop of course - I never left my desk!)

I also took all the glare off of the exercise room windows:

I get to create completely new things on a daily basis, which is extremely satisfying. It helps to balance out the fact that I have to spend such a large chunk of the prime time of my life (over 12 years now) here at this desk!

Thankfully, the subject matter is always different! Here are a few samples showing the great variety of things I have worked on recently…

This past week I got my new MeadowLand business cards, which sport our new logo! I even a got a new title: “Senior Graphics and Packaging Designer”. Woo-hoo!

More about MeadowLand

I’ve been workng for them for over 7 years, and just finished up with a flurry of items for their annual trip to “Lawn & Garden World”, part of the National Hardware Show. It happens this week in Las Vegas, and is a major annual event for MeadowLand. Many contacts and deals are made there between wholesalers and retailers. Last year I got to go to the show in Orlando, and it was quite an amazing thing to experience. I’m pretty sure it’s the largest convention in the US, with over 3500 exhibitors. Here is a sample photo of only a small part of the convention hall with it’s gazillion vendors and their wares:
