All three of my kids gave meaningful Christmas gifts to me again this year. They know what I like! And (as I requested), they didn’t spend very much. Austin gave me fine point black pens and Snickers, Aaron gave coffee and a wonderful letter, and Alison painted me a picture of one of my favorite places… Black Butte in Central Oregon. I know I am loved.

Austin loves drama. He has since he was little. But l had no idea what I would get to see him do at the “Murder Me Always” play last Saturday night! It was pretty funny. That’s him on the floor, and that’s his good friend Conner on the left. (Thanks for the pictures, Mom!)
Below are a couple short video clips. Click on the images to play them. The audio is not too clear, but you’ll get an idea how active Austin was on the stage!

Looking back at a post from last fall, I see now that Austin has been developing his stage dance techniques since he was very young. Take a look.
Aaron’s band, “Team Redundancy Team”, played in downtown Portland at the Satyricon this week!
Band members are friends from Newberg High School.
Whoa! Loud? Yes—and some very cool original music!
Fine guitar work, Aaron.
This was actually taken before the concert. Laine, on the left is the bass player.
