We’re Goin’ to New Yok-Citee!

When Aaron was a little kid, he used to repeat this line over and over with a great British accent. We really got a kick out of it. Now he’s grown, and actually IS going to New York City!

This is for you Aaron!

[On a related note: it was exactly one year ago that Deanne had her name in the George Fox University Commencement program.]

Here’s an interesting thought… just one year ago, 4 out of 5 in our family were in school. After this weekend, 4 out of 5 will be out of school!

Scenes from “A Curious Savage”

Austin performed in the drama, “A Curious Savage” at Newberg High School tonight, and it was very well done.

A comedy with some real touching moments, the story is about three siblings who put their wealthy step-mother in a “home” because they think she is being foolish with her money (their inheritance). She becomes friends with the other residents of the home, and has a fun time keeping the ten million dollars out of the hands of her greedy step-children.

Austin plays Hannibal, a man who thinks he can play the violin (he can’t, but no one tells him that), and he flicks playing cards at the three greedy people that are trying to get at Mrs. Savage’s money.

It was a fun play — with a surprising final scene. Good job to all the actors! It’s worth seeing!
