I heard a loud CRACK and BOOM, followed by a cloud of snow going by the window, and I knew the leanin’ tree had come down! I didn’t feel the house shake at all, so I was relieved that it hadn’t hit the house. Whew!
A close call!
Here’s one of several other branches that came down in our yard today. It actually didn’t cause any damage to this yard furniture!

We have had a tree break off part way up as well as a 30+ branch from another leaning tree fall under our bedroom window. More will be precarious if we get more snow and ice.
We’ve got about 3 feet of snow on the ground now, but fortunately no ice to go with it, other than the roads that haven’t been plowed. I’m glad the tree missed your house…it looked pretty close from the pictures.
