I don’t often get personal packages here at work, but just a little while ago I got THREE very different ones in the span of about 15 minutes!
The first one (by UPS) took me totally by surprise! It is a gift from a client of mine, Rugged Country Plants — ten plugs of Castilleja miniata (Scarlet Indian Paintbrush!). They wanted me to see the plant shipping boxes they had made (with the logo I made for them), and just wanted to say “Thanks!” Awesome!
Then, a few minutes later I got the second one (by USPS Priority Mail). It was the new rear derailleur hanger for my mid-90s GT Pantera, that broke on my last ride. Thankfully there’s a company still making these things! On-line shopping is SO COOL!
Right on the heels of that package came the third delivery. It was a personal delivery from a friend that has chickens! Very nice!

How fun! And such a variety of ‘gifts’.
Practical proof of the maxim “gifts come in a variety of packages” which can have many philosophical interpretations.
The Indian Paintbrush brought back memories of hiking in the Idaho mountain meadows.
Curious to know how it does here.
Gifts of beauty, recreation, and sustenance–all blessings!
